As a member of the Technopark Alliance Switzerland, Technopark Graubünden is connected to resources from internationally recognised universities. Together with our partners, who provide Technopark members with advice and support, this offers a large field of cooperation and the development of joint projects.
Since 1989, the IFJ has accompanied more than 150,000 company founders on their way to self-employment. As a pioneer and industry leader, the IFJ offers the most popular online services in Switzerland for setting up companies and making changes to the commercial register. Entrepreneurs attend intensive courses and presentation events with active networking, use tools for business plan, accounting and smart work and receive legal support for trademark protection and contracts. The accumulated expert knowledge from over 30 years of startup experience is in the numerous checklists and blog posts.
Well-known partners and the public sector rely on cooperation with the IFJ. This makes it possible to provide comprehensive startup support free of charge for founders in Switzerland.
Startups in the canton of Graubünden can use contributions and loans for product, process and service innovations at an early stage (Economic Development Act). These funds are issued on the basis of the business model or business plan and are based on jointly defined milestones related to the development progress of the relevant innovation. Development services are taken into account for funding. For these, contributions can be granted that do not have to be reimbursed up to a maximum of 25%.
In addition, infrastructures that are necessary for the implementation of the innovation (production facilities, clean rooms, etc.) can be funded with loans.
There is also the option of tax relief, which can be checked by the cantonal tax administration. The moderate corporate income tax rate, the patent box with a tax relief of up to 90% and an R&D excess deduction of up to 50% offer further tax advantages for innovative companies.
